Horray!! My visa application for Vernie has been approved! We are about half-way through the process now i think, and will hopefully get the visa in a few months. It's not for sure yet, but we are hopeful. The rest of the process will be completed through the U.S. embassy in Manila. Up to this point we have just been waiting, but now we will be more active by filling out forms, going for interviews, and seminars. Keep in touch.

We took a trip to the mountain province this weekend. it was a nice holiday. we went hiking and ate lots of durian.

Vernie and I are celebrating our 3 months of being married. Married life is still great, but of course challenging at times. I can say the same about living in the Philippines too.

Things are going well here in the Philippines. I have been working these past two weeks teaching an English class. It has been challenging, but good. I'm glad that it is ending soon, so i can relax a bit.
