Our Day in the Spotlight

My brother, Mark and my parents, Ron and Sherry, arrived a few days before the wedding. Fortunately they were able to stay at the house of Ed and Luane, who have been friends of the family for many years and are now missionaries in the same town as Vernie. Coincidence? I think not. We thank God for them; they are a great blessing to us in so many ways.

The Makiputin family invited us over to their house a couple of nights before the wedding. Luane is translating for the parents.
The Makiputin's prepared a wonderful feast for us and welcomed us into the family with a song. It was very touching. I love my new family.

On the ends are Ed and Luane who were Principal Sponsors at our wedding. They are our Ninong and Ninang now, which means godparents.

Honeymoon

We just got back from our honeymoon. Here is one picture of the sunset at the resort we stayed at.

The last two weeks have been so full and fun. It's nice now to have the time to take it all in. great memories. I'll post more pics later when i get them.
