Things here are going well. Vernie and I are still looking for more tutoring jobs. I'm filling my time with studying Visayan(the local dialect here), and just adjusting to the culture and married life.

Joe is the nickname that all white guys get. So alot of people call out to me, "Hey Joe!"

I forgot to mention: for reasons unknown to me, my maternal grandfather always called me Joe when I was a kid.
